Design and materials

The high quality and stability of Polifolia trays’ packaging is guaranteed by the advanced material structures used in their manufacture:

• Outer layer
  It is made of rigid, highly transparent plastic to emphasise the product’s aesthetic appeal. The polypropylene layer can be coloured any shade from the PANTONE palette. It is resistant to mechanical damage, ensuring the packaging is durable and stable.
• Barrier layer (e.g. EVOH)
  Its very low oxygen and gas permeability features allow packaged products to stay fresh for longer, preserving their taste, aroma and quality.
• Heat-sealable layer
  Enables fast, tight and reliable tray sealing, which is crucial when working on high-performance packaging lines.
